Future chatbots will be multimodal like human beings in that they will interact through touch UI, vision, voice, and text. As a tiny step in this direction, we will preview how UI, voice, and text can be combined to create more engaging chatbots. Next, we will explore the Bluemix environment and Watson capabilities including Watson Conversation service. We will cover both business and client side issues with demos showing code and technical details. We will cover use cases and tips on implementing language models in Watson, and integrating those with your conversational product. In addition to chatbots, we will understand how the Watson services can be used for building intelligent apps. In this meetup, you will learn how to build your chatbot and publish into various channels such as Facebook Messenger and Slack.
